Modified on Tue, 28 Mar 2023 at 04:20 PM

What is a widget?

A widget is a customisable section you can add to a report on Insights, that will display data in a certain format.

What would the Figures widget be used for?

A Figure widget would be used for instances where standalone numbers would be more appropriate than charts or graphs. There are 3 main categories of these figures: Logins, Users & Marketing. Within these categories, figures would be things like Averages, Totals & Rates.

How to add a Figures widget

  1. Create a custom report or choose an existing one

  2. Click on the edit icon to begin customising the report (screenshot)

  3. Click ‘+ Add Widget’ and choose Figure from the dropdown list

  1. Set up widget configuration:

    • Choose the metric you want the figure for - by default this will be logins

  • Set the period you want to look at - by default this would be last 7 days

  • Choose whether you want to include data from all venues, a group or a specific venue

  • Choose the scope of users you want to look at – all users or a segment

  1. Add a comparison if required

       6. Add a custom title if required
