Left Hand Menu Explained

 

1. Dashboard- The Dashboard will automatically open when you log into Insights. On this page, you can see the main statistics that operators find most useful. 

You can drill this down by either all venues, a group of venues, or a specific venue, and you can also filter this down by the date range.

 

2. Standard Reports:

  • Logins- Total Wi-Fi, Repeat users, new users, Opt-in rate, new user login method, New marketable data 

  • Demographics- Age and gender breakdown allows you to see how the age ranges split into different genders. 

  • Presence- Includes a breakdown of the number of Devices seen vs converted, dwell time of Wi-Fi users and total footfall by hour of devices seen. 

  • Behaviour- Average number of visits per user, % of returning users and average dwell time (based on opted in and out users). 

  • Interests- Key stats on Top 500 Facebook liked pages.  

  • Venues- Table Overview of venue stats breakdown.

 

 





3. Custom Reports 


 Custom Reports is where you can create your own bespoke report within the Insights platform, picking and choosing your favourite charts and metrics to schedule to send to yourself and your team.


New Report- This allows you to create a bespoke picking and choosing your favourite charts and metrics to schedule to send to yourself and your team.


Manage Reports- View and amend existing reports by clicking the title of the report. All existing reports will also be displayed under ‘Manage Reports’ 


Scheduled Reports- Any reports which have been scheduled to be sent to email(s). Click ‘edit’ to amend the recipient(s) or frequency. (link)




4. Segments- Segments are groups of Wi-Fi users, filtered according to some attribute. They are used to provide more detailed breakdowns of user behaviour and can be used to create custom reports. See here how to create a segment.


5. Calendars- Calendars is a tool you can use to highlight a specific period where you have held an event or refurbishment and are interested in how/if this has impacted your Wi-Fi login number. Here you can create a new calendar, view and amend existing events. 


6. Hedgehog- This page shows the status of your venues and allows you to personalise the name that appears on SMS messages to guests. 


7. Support- Includes contact details for both customer and technical support. 


8. My Account- This shows you the number of venues that have Wi-Fi, Presence and Hedgehog. As well as the most active users over the past 12 months.


9. Administration: Venue Groups- Create new venue groups (if you have multiple brands) and amend existing groups.
