Venue Groups Explained

This is a feature built within our Insights platform which allows you to put together a group of venues for analysis purposes. This can be useful for segmenting venues by region or brand.

 

In order to set up your own bespoke groups, please login to the Insights platform and use the following instructions:

  1. Click into ‘Administration’ on the left-hand side menu


  2. Select ‘Venue Groups’
  3. Click ‘Add Group’ in the right-hand corner 
  4. Name your group (e.g., London venues, Brand name etc)
  5. Select your ‘Access Group’ (These are selected venues which have been banded together based on location or brand. Creating access groups are useful if you have multiple brands within your organisation and require users to only have access to or receive reports for a specific brand or venues.
  6. Click ’Add Group’

 


Select the ‘Venue Group Name’ you have created

Choose your venue(s) from the drop-down list

Click ‘Add Venue’



Once you have added all venues, click ‘save’

 

 

This will save the newly created Venue Group, meaning this will now appear and be available for use within your Venue Filter for reporting purposes. In order to find this, please see below:


1. Go back to the dashboard or a standard report page of your choice

2. Select the venue group from the filter box on your chosen standard report

3. Click ‘Apply’

 

 

You have now successfully filtered by your bespoke Venue Group.

 

If you ever wish to edit the name or access group, click the ‘edit’ button, similarly you can delete any Venue Groups by using the bin icon.
